Recently left college and ready to start your career?
We’re looking for two enthusiastic people to join our Contact Centre team at Energy Assets. You don’t need previous contact centre experience - we’ll train you from scratch and give you all the support you need to succeed.
What matters most is that you can communicate confidently, type accurately and use everyday Microsoft software such as Outlook and Excel. You’ll also need a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in helping people.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience, develop new skills and begin a long-term career with a growing national business.
Please note you will need to be available for 2 weeks training in Livingston, Scotland. Travel, subsistence and accommodation will be paid for by Energy Assets. This is only in the event that you take the role based in Darwen or Sheffield.
What you’ll be doing
With full training and support, you’ll learn how to:
- Handle inbound and outbound calls in a friendly and professional way.
- Listen carefully and help resolve customer enquiries.
- Arrange appointments and coordinate engineers’ diaries.
- Communicate with customers, engineers and internal teams.
- Prepare documents accurately and efficiently.
- Keep customers updated throughout their journey.
- Record information correctly on our systems.
- Work with colleagues to solve problems and achieve team goals.
What we’re looking for
You don’t need previous experience. We’re looking for someone who:
- Communicates clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing.
- Enjoys speaking with people and helping them.
- Can type and enter information accurately.
- Has basic experience using Microsoft software, including email and Excel.
- Is organised and pays attention to detail.
- Is reliable, positive and keen to learn.
- Can remain calm and professional in a busy environment.
- Works well as part of a team.
- Is willing to take responsibility for their work and ask questions when they need help.
