Your role in detail
As a Siteworks Sales Executive, you’ll be part of a small team who arrange delivery of our metering projects, from acceptance through to completion. You’ll be home based and provided with the necessary training and equipment to undertake your role effectively.
You’ll be given high levels of autonomy in your role and be responsible for:
- providing a timely and accurate response to enquiries from customers (shippers, suppliers, developers and other end users) and to ensure SLA’s and KPIs are met.
- Establish customers operating needs and provide a suitable quotation based on the information provided by customers – You will likely be dealing with Low/Medium and Intermediate pressure requests.
- prepare competitive quotations within agreed commercial parameters.
- to ensure that information is accurately recorded and that industry processes are followed, GT1 and GSC processes in particular.
- strategically target new clients via Glenigans, Cold calls, Market Research to garner new clients for Energy Assets to achieve quarterly targets.
- creation of Sales invoices in a timely fashion, ensuring that construction of project is not unduly delayed.
- identify, develop and maintain long term effective business relationships with both new and existing customers.
- production of reports as required by your interaction with the customer and by the Company.
- monitor the progress of sales opportunities from enquiry to closure ensuring the optimum numbers of enquiries are converted into sales.
What we're looking for
- our ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years previous sales experience, within an account management or utility sales role.
- Have an understanding of how gas networks operate and how this links into providing quotations
- Understand how Gas meters function ( desirable)
- great communication skills, both written and verbal
- proactive
- excellent customer service skills
- Salesforce experience (desirable)
