Reporting to the Tendering & Design Manager, this role is a key position within the expansion of UK post acceptance design team. The successful candidate will play a central part in delivering multi‑utility design services, both in‑house and in partnership with our external providers.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver technical design work for both Complex and Non‑Complex multi‑utility projects in both the commercial and residential sector
- Prepare technical designs, quotations, and design approval packs in line with relevant legislation, codes of practice, and internal policies.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of all work activities to meet internal, external, and legal requirements.
- Ensure personal technical competencies remain current and compliant.
- Provide technical support and guidance to operational teams, management, and customers on design, quotation, sales, safety, and engineering matters.
- Produce design drawings that meet required EAC standards.
- Support the commercial control of multiple projects to ensure delivery within agreed timescales and profit targets.
- Mentor, guide, and support junior team members, contributing to their development.
- Conduct site visits where required to inform and validate design work.
- Deliver work to the required quality standards and within defined performance and productivity measures.
- Approve designs within the scope of the individual’s authorised competency level as defined by the STC process.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you will bring:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a multi‑utility design environment, ideally covering gas, electricity, and water.
- Strong working knowledge of relevant legislation and standards, including CDM and NRSWA.
- Competent in the use of AutoCAD and design software such as Windebut & GasWorks
- A solid understanding of industry codes of practice and technical requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and time‑management abilities, with the capability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
