What will you be doing?

Working as a part of the Market Wide Half Hourly Settlement Programme (MHHS) project team, working towards the successful delivery of the MHHS solution for Energy Assets and our customers.

Working under the Head of Software Development to create, review and manage technical documentation, through the review of complex business requirements and processes, in order for the development and maintenance of the MHHS solution. 

  • Developing and writing IT related business requirements documentation and/or specifications.
  • Ability to analyse, understand and break down the technical requirements of a large data driven project.
  • Be able to understand, analyse and communicate complex business requirement as provided by the business & the various industry bodies.
  • Create business requirement documents based on the required industry interfaces, operational processes, and data delivery requirements.
  • Participates in quality assurance testing of new system functionality
  • Knowledge transfer to operational stakeholders
  • Attend training courses as required by the Company to ensure your level of competency is maintained
  • Play a dynamic part in the team, promoting a positive working culture and effective working practices, representing the company in a professional manner in line with our core values

Knowledge, Skills and Experience 

  • 5 years + experience in developing and writing IT related business requirements documentation and/or specifications.
  • Significant business analysis experience gained in a team based, software product development environment
  • Experienced with working in a team or large project environment
  • Must be proficient in Business Process Modelling and MS Office
